Regarding the American Indians that remained in the Ancestral Homelands they were forced and assumed racial categories of Black and White . Specifically the Black label this was applied by census workers imposing titles like Free Persons of Color, African, Negro, Black and other names.
American Indians that were forced to assume new race are still Indians “Pretended” to be BLACK
